About Digitalnetgenius
A Hong Kong practice built around one craft: helping audit committees receive papers they can read, challenge, and minute.
Why we exist
Audit committees in Hong Kong sit between management, auditors, and regulators. Too often the papers arrive late, dense, and written for accountants alone. Digitalnetgenius was formed to close that gap: we prepare reporting that respects listing rules and still speaks to independent directors.
How we work
We embed with the CFO and company secretary for a defined cycle. Drafts stay confidential. Challenge is expected. We document assumptions so the committee can see what changed between sittings.
People
Rachel Chan — Practice lead
Former financial reporting manager for a Main Board issuer; now leads engagement scoping and chair briefings. Rachel insists every pack names the judgement that directors will debate.
Daniel Ho — Reporting specialist
Focuses on significant accounting estimates, related-party narratives, and aligning subsidiary packs with group close calendars.
Mei Ling Tsang — Controls & findings
Turns internal audit and management letter points into severity-ranked briefings with remediation owners.
Values in practice
- Clarity over volume — fewer pages if they answer the chair’s real questions
- Calendar honesty — we say early when a deadline cannot be met with the evidence available
- Independence of voice — we challenge management wording when it obscures risk
