Refunds & cancellations
How deposits, cancellations, and refunds work for Digitalnetgenius professional engagements.
Scope
This policy applies to professional engagements with Digitalnetgenius for audit committee reporting support, year-end coordination, control findings briefings, and pre-listing readiness reviews. It does not cover products we do not sell (physical goods, software licences, or course seats).
Deposit
A deposit of 30% of the agreed fee is ordinarily due on acceptance of the engagement letter. The deposit secures calendar time for your committee cycle.
Full refund eligibility
A full refund of sums paid is available if:
- We cancel the engagement for reasons within our control before substantial work begins; or
- You withdraw in writing within 3 business days of signing the engagement letter and we have not yet started drafting, evidence collection, or scheduled challenge sessions.
Partial refunds
If you cancel after work has started, we invoice for time and materials reasonably incurred (capped at the engagement fee) and refund any unused balance of sums already paid. Completed deliverables (for example, an issued pack) are chargeable in full for that milestone.
Non-refundable items
- Fees for deliverables already issued to you
- Third-party disbursements already incurred with your approval (for example, certified translation)
- Deposits where cancellation occurs inside 5 business days of a booked on-site committee attendance that we cannot reallocate
Rescheduling
Committee date changes notified at least 10 business days in advance are accommodated once without extra charge, subject to our availability. Shorter notice may incur a rescheduling fee of up to 10% of the engagement fee or require a new timeline and quote.
No-shows
If a scheduled challenge session or on-site attendance is missed without 2 business days’ notice, that session may be charged as delivered.
Work already started
Drafts, trackers, and review notes prepared before cancellation remain our working papers. On request and subject to outstanding fees being settled, we may provide copies of drafts already shared with you.
Refund process & timing
Email info@digitalnetgenius.digital with your engagement reference and reason. Approved refunds are processed within 14 business days to the original payment method where possible.
